Apply now to become the next UNEP Young Champion of the Earth! The UNEP is actively seeking innovative changemakers with groundbreaking ideas to tackle the pressing challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution.

This prestigious award recognizes exceptional young individuals worldwide who propose impactful solutions for environmental protection and restoration. In 2024, winners will be chosen from each global region, receiving mentorship, workshops, access to a UN network, introductions to dignitaries, publicity, and $20,000 in seed funding.

Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old by December 31, 2024, with at least 6 months of experience working on environmental initiatives.

The Young Champions will share their journeys through videos and blogs for up to one year.

This prize not only offers recognition but also aims to cultivate the next generation of environmental leaders by providing mentoring, skill-building opportunities, and access to a supportive community.
