The Pierre Castel Prize for 2024 is now accepting applications.
The seventh edition of the PIERRE CASTEL PRIZE will take place from March 1 to July 10, 2024, and is being organised by the Pierre Castel Fund in collaboration with Castel El Djazaïr, Brakina, Boissons du Cameroun, Solibra, Star, and Bracongo SA. This edition affects six nations in Africa:
An application form, presentation file, resume, identity document, accounting balance sheet or operating account for 2023, and an official document attesting to the legal existence of the business are among the required documents.

36 entrepreneurs are honoured with the 2024 Pierre Castel Prize (6 per nation).
The awards given out as part of this competition are meant to help the chosen businesses grow and have a greater influence on the value chains. Additionally, the development of entrepreneurial skills, knowledge sharing facilitation and encouragement, and, ultimately, the stimulation of pan-African synergies are the goals of these awards.

Second place winners: €10,000 and a coaching course
Finalists: Young Hopes Prize for sustainable agriculture and food access and accredited entrepreneurial e-learning training from the Geneva International Trade Centre (ITC)

Eligibility Criteria
Farmers between the ages of 18 and 45 who are citizens of nations that have been impacted, who have been lawfully in operation for a minimum of a year, and who are carrying out development projects that have a major influence on the environment, society, and economy are eligible.
