Check out the 2024 UNESCO-APCEIU 10th Youth Leadership Workshop on GCED
The 10th Youth Leadership Workshop on Global Citizenship Education (GCED) is now accepting applications from UNESCO and the APCEU. GCED is a paradigm shift in education that gives youth the values, information, and abilities they need to positively influence a world that is becoming more interconnected and complicated.
Under the topic "Youth Voices for Transforming Education through GCED," the Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU) is partnering with the GCED Youth Network to host the 10th Youth Leadership Workshop on GCED online from April 29 to May 10, 2024.
Every year, 50 young leaders from all over the world come together for this workshop, which provides a vibrant forum for conversation, idea sharing, networking, and mutual learning about GCED and youth advocacy.
Goals
To increase the comprehension of human rights and global citizenship among young leaders
To give participating youth leaders a venue where they may debate and create plans of action appropriate for GCED implementation at the local, state, and federal levels.
To find creative youth-led GCED programmes across several geographies
Anticipated Results
The ability of youth participants to use GCED locally and globally improved
