Are you looking for a hands-on internship in a diverse environment? Then this Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Geneva has just the opportunity for you!

This is a paid internship position in Geneva for the selected interns. The IPU is one of the oldest global organizations, created way back in 1889. With 180 Member Parliaments worldwide, it focuses on promoting peace, strengthening democracies, and helping parliaments work together.

As an intern at the IPU Division for Member Parliaments and External Relations, you'll work closely with the Director. Your job will involve:
- Helping write messages to member Parliaments.
- Researching what parliaments do after IPU talks.
- Supporting diplomatic work, especially for areas like the Caucasus and the Ukraine war.
- Assisting in organizing the 149th IPU Assembly in Geneva in October 2024.
- Helping with document keeping.
- Doing other jobs as needed.

The position wants candidates who have:
- A university degree in international relations, political science, law, history, or something similar.
- Good at finding information and thinking carefully about it.
- Can work alone or with a team.
- Good at talking and writing.
- Speak English well, and knowing French is a plus.
- Can use MS Office and find things online.
- Pay attention to small details and can do many things at once.

About the remuneration:

All Interns get CHF 1,200 a month (part-time).
