Apply for the 2026 UN Global Compact Young SDG Innovators Programme

Applications are open for the 2026 UN Global Compact Young SDG Innovators Programme  (YSIP) — a nine-month accelerator designed to empower young professionals to create innovative business solutions that advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This initiative offers participants a transformative experience, helping them integrate sustainability, creativity, and cutting-edge innovation into their company’s strategy.

About the Programme

The SDG Innovation Accelerator provides a platform for young leaders (35 years or younger) working in companies that are part of the UN Global Compact network. Participants collaborate across industries to design forward-thinking business models and technologies that contribute to sustainability and long-term growth.

Through hands-on workshops, mentoring, and international networking, innovators will gain the tools and insights to drive meaningful change within their organizations and beyond.

Programme Tracks

Participants may join through one of three tracks:

  • In-Country Track: Locally delivered sessions in national languages and time zones

  • Africa Track: Connecting participants from Egypt and the Indian Ocean region through global and on-demand learning

  • Global Track: English-language sessions for countries without a local Global Compact network

Eligibility Criteria
- Professionals aged 35 or below working in UN Global Compact participant companies

- Individuals passionate about innovation, sustainability, and disruptive technologies

- Applicants able to commit at least four hours per month to programme activities and attend four one-day workshops
