A $15,000 grant is available for the Child and Youth Development Program

The Child and Youth Development Programme applications are being accepted by the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia.

The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia awards grants through the Community Investment Funds grant cycle each year with an emphasis on Child & Youth Development in order to support the growth and well-being of children and youth.

The Permanent Fund for Northern Virginia, an unrestricted endowment at the Community Foundation that awards grants to support the development of a community that benefits everyone, includes the Child and Youth Fund as a component fund.

Requests for grants up to $15,000 will be granted.

Eligibility Criteria

Grant submissions from nonprofit organisations in Northern Virginia that provide after-school programmes for students in elementary, middle, and high school will be accepted in 2024. Applications for capital upgrades, endowments, or scholarship awards will not be accepted; applicants must be 501(c)(3) organisations. Applications that arrive late or are incomplete won't be accepted.
