The Carr Center invites applications from individuals interested in spending a year as Carr Center Fellows. During this time, fellows can focus on research and writing, audit classes, engage with faculty and experts, lead study groups for students, and participate in various learning opportunities at the Harvard Kennedy School.

Please note that these fellowships are unpaid affiliations. Fellows are typically responsible for securing their own funding, either through their employer, home institution, or an external grant to cover their expenses.

All fellowships are for a full academic year, from September 1 to June 30.

Location and Travel
Fellowships are primarily non-residential. While limited shared office space may be available for fellows wishing to be in residence, this is not guaranteed. Occasional access to shared office space may also be offered for those visiting the Cambridge/Boston area.
