Sought are exceptional candidates for the 2025 World Bank Group Young Professionals Program (YPP). The World Bank invites applications from talented individuals worldwide, boasting diverse backgrounds, superior technical expertise, outstanding leadership potential, and a demonstrated commitment to the WBG's mission and values.

Successful applicants will join the World Bank Group as Technical Specialists, Economists, or Associate Investment Officers on an initial five-year contract, subject to renewal based on performance. During the first two years, they will have the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and experience through rotational assignments across the World Bank Group.

Additionally, participants will engage in a structured learning and talent development journey through the YP Academy, featuring:

- Technical and operations training
- Language programs
- Negotiation and business skills development
- Leadership development

Participants will also receive:

- One-on-one coaching
- Mentorship connections
- Strategy-focused dialogues with senior leaders

Eligibility Criteria:

- Born on or after October 1, 1992
- Citizen of a World Bank Group member country (demonstrated by official passport or equivalent document)
- Over four years of full-time work experience following undergraduate studies (relevant doctoral studies and internships may count towards work experience)
- Completion of a master's-level degree or equivalent in a relevant field by September 1, 2025 (or higher qualification)
- If pursuing a doctorate, full-time research studies in a relevant field at an accredited institution may count towards work experience, with the degree substantially complete by September 1, 2025
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills (fluency in other languages may be advantageous)
- Not a current World Bank Group staff member or precluded from applying/joining the program by the employment eligibility policy.
