The Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI) is a multidisciplinary post-graduate institute founded in 2005 through the initiative of Professor Dr. Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana.

CGI aims to utilize modern interactive teaching methods, similar to those used in top educational and research institutions, to develop skilled thinkers and leaders who can contribute to their countries' sustainable development. CGI currently offers Master's degree programs in Applied Biological Sciences, focusing on Environmental Health, Environmental Toxicology, and Chemical Sciences.

This year, 15 scholarships are available for international applicants to pursue a Master's degree at CGI, with selection based on merit. Thai citizens should apply separately through the scholarship program for Thai nationals.

Event Duration

The scholarship will include 6 weeks of refresher courses, followed by a 2-year Master's Degree program, with progress reviewed annually to ensure satisfactory academic performance. CGI reserves the right to revoke the scholarship if the academic requirements are not met or if the recipient fails to follow CGI's regulations. The refresher courses are expected to begin in June 2025, and the academic program will start in August 2025.

Program Benefits

The scholarship will cover the following key expenses: tuition and academic fees (including credit fees, lab costs, refresher course fees, enrollment fees, and thesis-related expenses), round-trip airfare, visa fees, initial settlement allowance, relocation allowance, accommodation, monthly living stipend, book allowance, health insurance, and additional expenses.

Eligibility Criteria

Scholarships are available to applicants who meet the following criteria:

- Age: Must be under 30 years old (no exceptions).
- Education: Must hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 in one of these fields:
- Sciences: Chemistry, Biology, Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology, Environmental Sciences
- Medical Sciences: Medicine, Medical Technology
- Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Applicants from other related fields are also encouraged to apply.

- Experience: Must have experience in scientific laboratory research.
- Language Proficiency: Must demonstrate English proficiency, preferably through recognized tests such as TOEFL or IELTS.
- Statement of Purpose: Must submit a statement outlining their academic interests and reasons for applying.
