The goal of the ICANN Fellowship Program is to increase the diversity of the multistakeholder model by giving members of marginalised and under-represented populations a chance to participate actively in the ICANN community.

Before, during, and after each ICANN Public Meeting, fellows are given an overview of the operations of the ICANN community, paired with a mentor, and provided with various training opportunities to further their knowledge and abilities. There is also travel aid available to attend the meeting.

Concerning the Program
The goals of the ICANN Fellowship Program are:

Strengthen Diversity: Expand the number of under-represented and underserved groups in ICANN.
Provide Support: To guarantee complete participation in ICANN Public Meetings, provide mentorship, training, and travel help.
Encourage Involvement: Educate fellows about ICANN's operations and assist them in taking on an active role in the community.

Conditions
Recipients of fellowships should:

Participate in the Fellowship Program mentoring procedures
Finish the extra ICANN that is needed. Take classes.
Participate in the ICANN Meeting Public Meeting and all mandatory events, such as the ICANN Fellowship sessions. Network and engage with former participants and members of the community.
Fill in the post-meeting questionnaire.
After completing the Fellowship Program, participants are encouraged to actively participate in the ICANN policy development processes and the Fellowship alumni network.
