Applicants are required to:
• Possess experience in research and/or media dissemination for the general public.
• Exhibit dedication to open-access knowledge sharing.
• Show commitment and experience in engaging diverse audiences including policymakers, researchers, and the general public on topics related to African life and politics.
• Demonstrate a commitment to enhancing the capacity of African research institutions, universities, media centers, and journalists.
• Submit a well-defined proposal.
• Have computer proficiency, English fluency, and strong public speaking skills.

African nationals, scholars, journalists, content creators based in Africa, and female applicants are strongly encouraged to apply. Team submissions are accepted. Familiarity with the Ufahamu Africa podcast or podcasting experience is advantageous. This Request for Applications (RFA) will accept three to four fellows (individuals or teams) for a fellowship beginning in October 2023.
