Young activists worldwide are invited to apply for the combined Young Emerging Leaders Programme (YEL) by the Global Network of Young People Living with HIV (Y+ Global) and the Global Network of People Living with HIV (GNP+).

Do you belong to a critical population group or are you a young person living with HIV who is driven to change your community? Do you currently participate in any local or national advocacy efforts? Are you prepared to advocate on behalf of youth in international forums? Come work with our top-tier group of advocates to transform the lives of youth in all their variety!

Young advocates worldwide are invited to apply for our joint Young Emerging Leaders Programme (YEL), a leadership development initiative that will create an elite group of young advocates with the ability to engage and influence global policy and health governance spaces. This programme is being offered by the Global Network of Young People Living with HIV (Y+ Global) and the Global Network of People Living with HIV (GNP+).

Enhancing youth representation in international forum, such as the World Health Organisation, the United Nations General Assembly, and the Global Fund, is the goal of the Young Emerging Leaders Programme (YEL).

Fifteen Young Leaders (YELs) committed to HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) concerns will be selected by GNP+ and Y+ Global.

Until December 2024, the programme is looking for young people, ages 18 to 25, who are HIV positive, sex workers, or drug users to join in campaigning and education activities. They have to be committed to human rights ideals, have expertise in national and international activism, and publicly represent their communities.
