Are you a recent graduate with a passion for trade and global relations? Do you have an interest in understanding the inner workings of a diplomatic mission and how the EU Delegation advocates for EU interests and principles within the World Trade Organization (WTO)?

Available Opportunity:

Traineeships lasting up to five months are offered within various sections of the EU Delegation to the WTO, beginning in March 2025, subject to budget availability.

Position: Traineeship in the Trade Section (TRADE)

Key Responsibilities:

•Conduct research and analysis on legal, economic, and political aspects of the WTO

•Attend internal and external meetings, conferences, and other events connected to the work of the Mission

•Take notes and prepare reports

•Assist with press-related and information dissemination activities

•Contribute to the Delegation’s social media presence and outreach

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Required Qualifications and Skills:

•A Bachelor’s degree (preferably a Master’s) in a field directly related to international trade, law, or economics

•Previous experience or demonstrated interest, such as academic projects, in international trade or EU affairs

•Strong drafting abilities in English

•Familiarity with communications and social media experience is considered an advantage
