RecycleUp Nigeria is a six-month innovation program designed to empower and support environmentally conscious young innovators and entrepreneurs in Nigeria.

It equips them with the knowledge, resources, and assistance needed to tackle Nigeria's waste challenges and advance towards a circular economy. Through a comprehensive approach, the initiative addresses environmental issues while fostering entrepreneurship, employment, and sustainable development, aiming to create a cleaner, more prosperous nation.

RecycleUp Nigeria aims to increase Nigeria's transition to a circular economy by 200% by 2025, focusing on key sectors such as Built Environment, Organic Material and Biowaste, Energy, Electronics and ICT, Packaging and Plastics, Textiles, Water, and Food and Agriculture.

It offers Nigerian youths a unique opportunity to gain vital knowledge, skills, and resources for success in circular economy and sustainable waste management. Selected applicants will commence the program in March 2024.

Eligibility criteria include being Nigerian between the ages of 21 and 40, having a genuine interest in circular economy and sustainable development, demonstrating leadership potential and a commitment to community impact, being able to dedicate at least five hours weekly to the program, and having access to reliable internet and necessary technology devices for virtual participation.
