Our Youth Mission

Youth and early-career voices in science play a crucial role in the climate movement. They bring passion, resilience, and determination, compelling leaders to take action. Arctic Basecamp supports young people in advancing their activism and career paths by providing tools, scientific knowledge, and project opportunities that can help them reach the next level.

About the Ambassador Programme

Arctic Basecamp’s Ambassadors include young climate activists and early-career scientists/researchers who collaborate to amplify their climate message. The program equips these young advocates with essential tools and connections to advance both their activism and career development.

The ambassador role is a one-year commitment involving activities such as content creation, public speaking, and event participation. In return, ambassadors gain access to scientific resources, networking with climate professionals, social media promotion, and potential invitations to climate events, both online and in person.
