The Young Ambassadors Society (YAS) is inviting applications from young people interested in joining its delegation to the 9th edition of the Paris Peace Forum, taking place from 10 to 11 November 2026 at the Palais de Chaillot in Paris, France.

Founded in 2018, the Paris Peace Forum is an international platform that brings together heads of state and government, representatives of international organisations, business leaders, researchers and civil society actors to exchange ideas and develop concrete responses to major challenges facing global governance and international cooperation. The 2026 edition will take place under the theme “From Sovereignty to Cooperation”, with discussions focusing on key priorities including peace and security, development, climate action, technology and artificial intelligence, and the future of multilateralism.

Selected YAS delegates will participate in the Forum through the #YouthTrack, a dedicated programme designed to place young people at the centre of international dialogue. The programme brings together students and young professionals from different parts of the world, providing opportunities to engage with diplomats, decision-makers and international leaders, explore different perspectives on global challenges, and build connections with peers involved in the broader multilateral ecosystem.

Throughout the two-day Forum, #YouthTrack participants will have access to a tailored programme, exclusive opportunities and exchanges with public figures, decision-makers and international leaders. The programme also extends beyond the Forum itself through thematic activities organised by student associations, institutional and academic partners, as well as a year-long #YouthTrack community that provides opportunities for continued exchange and networking.

As part of the YAS delegation, selected participants will also be expected to actively contribute to the delegation’s work. This includes engaging with discussions during the Forum, producing engaging content, sharing key insights and outcomes with the YAS community, and helping raise awareness of important discussions, events and developments emerging from the Paris Peace Forum.

Applicants should be fluent in English and have volunteer, academic, entrepreneurial or professional experience related to international affairs, multilateralism, peace and security, development, climate action, technology and artificial intelligence, or other areas connected to the priorities of the Paris Peace Forum. Candidates should also be willing and able to work collaboratively with other Italian and international delegates, actively participate in the #YouthTrack, and contribute to the work of the YAS team before, during and after the Forum.

Applicants must be able to finance the costs associated with participating in the Forum, including travel, accommodation, meals, visa fees where applicable, and other personal expenses. Those who require a visa to enter France must also be able to obtain the appropriate visa in time for the event.

An Italian passport is not required to apply for the YAS Delegation. Applicants from other nationalities are welcome to apply provided they meet the eligibility requirements and are able to participate in the Forum in Paris.

The Paris Peace Forum 2026 will take place on 10–11 November 2026 at the Palais de Chaillot in Paris, France. While the #YouthTrack provides access to the Forum and its dedicated programme, participants are not required to attend every activity taking place around the Forum.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and interested candidates are strongly encouraged to apply early. The deadline to submit an application is 4 October 2026 at 23:59 CET.
