Applications are open for the Children and Youth Major Group to the United Nations Environment Programme Global Youth Survey on Cooling and Energy Efficiency 2026, for young people from around the world to share their perspectives on sustainable cooling, energy efficiency, and climate action.

The initiative aims to gather youth experiences, knowledge, and opinions on issues related to cooling technologies, energy use, and environmentally friendly solutions. The findings will contribute to global discussions on climate and environmental policy while helping strengthen youth participation in decision-making processes.

The survey also marks a decade since the adoption of the Kigali Amendment and will generate insights to support future initiatives on sustainable cooling and energy efficiency. Preliminary findings are expected to be presented during World Ozone Day 2026, while the full results will be shared later in the year and highlighted during the 38th Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol (MOP38).

Survey Deadline
