Applications are now open for the Regional Conference of Youth Asia-Pacific (RCOY APAC) 2026 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The conference will take place from 3 to 6 October 2026.

RCOY APAC 2026 will bring together young people, climate leaders, researchers, youth organisations, policymakers, practitioners, and community representatives from across the Asia-Pacific region.

For the first time, Bangladesh will host this regional youth climate conference. Participants from 28 countries will meet to exchange ideas, develop new skills, and work together on climate solutions.

About RCOY APAC 2026

The RCOY Asia-Pacific 2026 conference will create a space for young people to connect and take action on climate change. Participants will share their experiences, explore new ideas, and build partnerships across countries.

In addition, the programme will feature practical workshops, capacity-building sessions, networking opportunities, and discussions on youth-led climate action.

Participants can also showcase innovative projects and community-based solutions. They will have opportunities to connect with organisations and other young climate leaders from the region.

What Participants Can Expect

The conference will offer several opportunities for learning, networking, and collaboration. Participants will be able to:

• Take part in practical workshops and capacity-building sessions.
• Connect with young people and organisations from across the region.
• Share youth-led innovations and community-driven climate solutions.
• Build partnerships with other climate leaders and organisations.
• Present their ideas, experiences, and perspectives.
• Contribute to the Regional Youth Statement (RYS).
• Explore more than 50 exhibition and innovation stalls.
• Join more than 12 side events and parallel activities.

Therefore, the conference offers a valuable platform for young people who want to strengthen their climate leadership and regional networks.

Conference Dates and Venue

The main conference will run from 3 to 6 October 2026 in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The organisers will hold the first three days at BRAC University from 3 to 5 October. On 6 October, participants will gather at the CCDB Climate Centre.

Who Can Apply?

The opportunity is open to children and young people up to 35 years of age from the Asia-Pacific region.

Applicants can apply under one of three participation categories:

• Bangladesh-based Delegate
• Bangladesh-based Observer
• Asia-Pacific International Delegate

Applicants should select the category that matches their location and participation status.

Application Deadline

The final deadline to apply is 10 September 2026.

However, applicants should submit their forms early. The organisers will review applications on a rolling basis. As a result, they may close the application process before the deadline if they receive enough suitable applications or fill all available spaces.
