CALLING ALL YOUTH; UNV / UNEP is inviting applications for it’s Young Talent Pipeline Programme 2024

Applications are now invited for the 2024 Young Champions Programme, a joint initiative by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the United Nations Volunteers (UNV).

This exciting opportunity, launching on 25 June 2024, aims to nurture the next generation of leaders in environmental conservation, pollution reduction, and climate action. Building on the success of the inaugural phase in 2023, this programme seeks to attract 12 talented young individuals from diverse regions, including Latin America, the Caribbean, Eastern Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Africa.

Eligible candidates must be 33 years old or younger, with a relevant academic background and at least three years of professional experience. We encourage innovative thinkers, passionate about environmental solutions, to apply. Successful candidates will be based at UNEP's headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya, and will embark on a 12-month assignment starting in November 2024, with a potential extension.

Various opportunities exist across different departments, offering a unique chance for young professionals to contribute to meaningful projects and shape the future of environmental sustainability.
