The Waislitz Global Citizen Awards are celebrating their tenth year. They give out cash prizes totaling $250,000 to people who are working to end extreme poverty. The top prize is $100,000, with two more prizes of $75,000 each, making three prizes in total. These awards are given by the Waislitz Foundation and Global Citizen.
The prizes for 2024 are:
- $100,000: Waislitz Global Citizen Award (Grand Prize)
- $75,000: The Waislitz Global Citizen Disruptor Award
- $75,000: The Waislitz Global Citizens’ Choice Award
Winners will also be featured in articles on the Global Citizen website and their verified social media platforms with a global reach
The grand prize goes to the person who scores highest in these areas. The Disruptor Award goes to someone who is really shaking things up, and the Citizens’ Choice Award is chosen by the public.
