Changemakers for Youth is inviting applications from social entrepreneurs and changemakers based in Egypt, Germany, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Switzerland, or Tunisia who are working to address pressing social, economic, and environmental challenges in their communities while empowering young people.

The programme, implemented through the ChangemakerXchange network, aims to connect changemakers, strengthen their capacity, and amplify their impact through international collaboration. It brings together individuals and organisations committed to creating positive change by placing young people at the centre of their work and promoting cross-sectoral partnerships and cross-border cooperation.

Applicants based in Germany may come from any part of the country, but their projects must demonstrate tangible impact in Eastern Germany.

Selected participants will gain access to a global community of changemakers, tailored capacity-building opportunities, networking opportunities, and support to develop collaborative projects across borders. The programme is particularly suited to individuals who value youth-centred approaches, collaboration across different sectors, and international partnerships to address shared challenges.

Participants can expect customised support and capacity building tailored to their needs, opportunities to attend in-person summits, funding opportunities for collaborative projects, ecosystem-building activities, and access to an international network of like-minded social entrepreneurs. The programme also offers lifelong membership in the global ChangemakerXchange community, enabling participants to maintain relationships and continue collaborating beyond the programme period.

Applications open on 13 October 2026, and the deadline to apply is 9 November 2026. The selection process includes online interviews scheduled between 20 November and 19 December 2026, with final decisions expected to be announced on 13 January 2027.

The programme will begin with a two-hour online kick-off session during the first week of February 2027. Participants will then undergo a needs assessment and receive tailored support in late February 2027. An in-person summit is planned for mid-March 2027, although the exact dates and location are yet to be confirmed. The selected cohort is expected to be publicly announced in late March 2027.

Throughout the programme, participants will take part in three 90-minute online check-in sessions and have opportunities to develop collaborative projects with potential funding support from late March 2027. Applicants should ensure their availability for the major programme milestones before submitting their applications.

Social entrepreneurs and changemakers who meet the geographical requirements and are committed to empowering young people through collaborative solutions are encouraged to apply.
