COP29 BADGES: Apply to join the Climate Justice Delegation at COP29 in Baku

Climate Justice Compass are excited to assemble a diverse delegation of frontline leaders, Indigenous representatives, and climate justice advocates for COP29.

These delegates will not only participate but will also undergo specialized training to engage effectively in negotiations and represent their communities’ interests. The goal is to ensure that communities most affected by climate change have a strong voice at COP29, helping to push forward the climate justice agenda. Collaborating with groups such as the Alliance of Frontline Communities, the African Counter COP, and their Climate Justice Summit, they seek to amplify the demands of frontline communities.

To apply for a badge, individuals must complete the provided form by Wednesday, October 23rd at 11:59 PM (EST). Accurate information is required.

Please be aware that, at this time, they are unable to offer financial assistance for travel and accommodations; this form is strictly for those who have already made travel arrangements to attend COP29 in Baku.

They hope that delegates will support their Climate Justice programming at the conference, as well as their efforts to broaden civic engagement within the UNFCCC.

It’s important to note that submitting this form does not guarantee a badge for COP29. Each application will be reviewed carefully to ensure diverse regional representation, gender balance, and a focus on participants with clear objectives for engagement at COP29.
