The UAE is honored to host COP28, the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference, from November 30 to December 12, 2023. We're seeking volunteers who are passionate about climate change to enhance the visitor experience during COP28.

About the Role:
As a Welcome Volunteer, your role will involve creating a warm and vibrant atmosphere for COP28 guests at the Expo City Dubai site. You'll offer information, assistance, and directional support to ensure visitors have an exceptional and unforgettable experience. This role entails engaging with visitors, spending time outdoors, and working in various light conditions. All necessary training will be provided, and you'll have the support of a team leader during your shifts.

Qualifications for the Role:
You should possess customer service skills and be comfortable addressing large groups of visitors. A positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and effective communication skills are essential. To be eligible, you must be 18 years old by June 1, 2023, hold a valid Emirates ID, have access to reach the Expo City Dubai site from your accommodation, commit to a minimum of 6 shifts between November 30 and December 12, 2023, be available for shifts from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM (with shifts lasting up to 9 hours), have proficient English language skills, and demonstrate a passion for sustainability, along with an interest or experience in the Climate Change sector.
