FULLY FUNDED: Apply for Salzburg Global’s Public Policy New Voices Europe 2025 for Aspiring Public Policy Leaders
Applications are now open for the Salzburg Global Public Policy New Voices Europe Fellowship 2025. This fully funded program is designed for emerging leaders passionate about shaping public policy and fostering democratic, inclusive societies across Europe.
Program Overview:
Each year, the fellowship brings together 30 early-career professionals, students, and recent graduates from diverse fields who aspire to create meaningful change through public policy. Salzburg Global is committed to ensuring diversity and encourages applications from underrepresented communities, including people of color, migrants, refugees, LGBTQ+ individuals, persons with disabilities, and individuals from low-income backgrounds.
Focus of the 2025 Fellowship:
The 2025 theme, “Beyond Fragmentation: Rebuilding Trust and Cohesion in European Democracy,” addresses critical challenges in Europe today, such as:
•Declining trust in public institutions and governance.
•The impact of disinformation and digital threats on democratic systems.
•The role of businesses in upholding democratic values.
•Building inclusive dialogue across Europe’s diverse communities.
Participants will explore these challenges through four subthemes:
1.Bridging Divides and Strengthening Institutions: Developing policies to foster unity.
2.Countering Disinformation: Tools to combat digital threats and misinformation.
3.Corporate Responsibility: Aligning business practices with democratic principles.
4.Inclusive Dialogue: Encouraging culturally sensitive, inclusive policy-making.
Eligibility:
This fellowship is open to individuals residing, studying, or working in the following European countries:
Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.
Eligible candidates should:
•Be early in their careers or currently enrolled in an academic program with a strong focus on public policy.
•Be committed to advancing equity, democracy, and inclusivity in their communities.
•Be proficient in English, as it is the program’s primary working language.
