Applications are open for the 2024-2025 Mastercard Foundation Scholars program at the University of Toronto in Canada.

Students from our partner universities in the African Higher Education Health Collaborative who are about to graduate or recent alumni are eligible to apply for this coveted prize. These scholarships are intended for candidates who have shown exceptional academic accomplishment in health-related subjects and who, after receiving their degrees, intend to have a significant influence in their home countries.

The African Higher Education Health Collaborative's partner universities are:

Addis Ababa University ,African Institute for Mathematical Sciences ,African Leadership University , Amref International University/Amref Health Africa , Ashesi University Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology ,Moi University & University of Cape Town.

The program will award 23 Mastercard Foundation scholarships for various graduate programs in 2024-2025, including Master of Health Informatics, Health Administration, Occupational and Environmental Health, Social and Behavioral Health Sciences, Financial Insurance, Engineering (Biomedical), and Biotechnology.

Application:

Only applications that adhere to the provided guidelines, including all required information submitted via the application form, will be considered.

Eligibility Criteria
- Hold citizenship and live in a nation in Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Possess a degree from an African Higher Education Health Collaborative partner institution earned within the last five years.
- Throughout your undergraduate studies, exhibit leadership abilities in addition to academic distinction.
- Be qualified to enroll in one of the above-mentioned supported graduate programs on an academic basis.
- Demonstrate a sincere desire and resolve to return home after graduation to support the social and economic advancement of your native nation.

To apply for a Mastercard Foundation Scholarship at the University of Toronto, review admission requirements, sign up for a scholarship information session, and complete the application by November 15th, 2023. Start your graduate application through the School of Graduate Studies website.
