FULLY FUNDED: Apply For The COP31 Climate Change Media Partnership Reporting Fellowship 2026 for Journalists
Applications are open for the COP31 Climate Change Media Partnership (CCMP) Reporting Fellowship 2026, a fully funded opportunity for journalists from low- and middle-income countries to report from the 31st United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP31) in Antalya, Türkiye. The fellowship is organized by the Climate Change Media Partnership, led by Internews’ Earth Journalism Network (EJN) and the Stanley Center for Peace and Security. Selected fellows will receive comprehensive support to attend and cover one of the world’s most important climate policy events while gaining access to mentorship, training, networking opportunities, and expert guidance. COP31 is scheduled to take place from 9–20 November 2026 in Antalya, Türkiye.

Additional Information
Participants will benefit from direct exposure to international climate negotiations while building professional networks with journalists from around the world. The fellowship is designed to improve climate journalism and ensure that perspectives from low- and middle-income countries are represented in global climate discussions.
Candidates are expected to submit an up-to-date CV, a short video explaining their proposed COP31 coverage plans, a letter of support from an editor, producer, supervisor, or media outlet confirming publication of their work, and at least three recent climate-related journalistic work samples. Applicants should also present a clear and detailed reporting plan outlining the stories they intend to pursue during the conference.
