About the Program

Open Global Power 2026 offers a structured learning journey combining online academic training with an exclusive international residential experience.

Participants will develop skills in:

• Sustainable energy systems and electricity markets
• Energy policy, governance, and regulation
• Business innovation in the power sector
• Just and inclusive energy transition strategies
• Global collaboration and professional networking

The programme is delivered in partnership with leading universities and institutions across Europe, Africa, and Latin America.

Program Structure

The fellowship is organized into four interconnected learning modules:

1. Foundational Module

• Format: Online
• Duration: 4 weeks (approx. 6 hours weekly)
• Core introduction to global energy systems and transition challenges.

2. Global Policy & Regulation Module

• Format: Online (live sessions + self-paced learning)
• Duration: About 4 months
• Focus on international energy governance and regulatory frameworks.

3. Territorial Modules

• Format: Online
• Duration: 4 weeks
• Region-specific training addressing local energy priorities.

4. Final Residential Module – Italy

• Format: In-person
• Duration: Approximately 1 week
• Participation reserved for top-performing fellows (around 10%).
