Eric Bleumink Fund Scholarships: Eligibility and Application Details

Applicants aspiring for the Eric Bleumink Fund Scholarships should meet the following criteria:

1. Have obtained provisional or unconditional admission to a master's program by February. Only then will they be eligible for consideration for the Eric Bleumink Fund grant (refer to the list of Master’s degree programs).

2. Demonstrate excellent academic performance, which can be supported by letters of recommendation.

3. Maintain outstanding grades during their undergraduate studies.

4. Possess strong English language proficiency, as required by the chosen program.

5. Commit to participating in the entire duration of the program.

6. Be in good health, ensuring eligibility for health insurance.

7. Hold the nationality of a country listed in Appendix 1.

8. Not have alternative means of funding for the intended study.

Grant Information:

The Eric Bleumink Fund Scholarship is available for both 1-year and 2-year Master’s degree programs. It covers various expenses such as tuition fees, international travel costs, subsistence, books, and health insurance. It's important to note that while numerous students apply for this scholarship each year, the University can provide only a limited number of grants.

Application Process:

The University of Groningen Admission Office, in collaboration with the Admission Boards of its faculties, will identify the candidates suitable for nomination for the Eric Bleumink Fund scholarship. Only individuals with provisional or unconditional admission offers for a master's program by February will be considered. To allow ample time for the Admission Office to process the master's program application, candidates should complete their master's application by December 1st.
