It includes an intensive language course, individual support, financial support for mobility, travel, health insurance, and additional German language courses. The fellowship also includes networking activities, a two-week study tour, and extensive alumni sponsorship. The host receives a monthly subsidy of €500 for project costs.

- The applicant must hold Brazilian, Chinese, Indian, South African, or American citizenship, have leadership experience in politics, business, media, administration, society, or culture, have completed their first academic degree, and have good English and German knowledge.

The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation requires applicants to submit a letter of motivation, project plan, extensive statement, and two letters of recommendation. The online application form allows uploading of these documents, and applicants should forward the links to relevant individuals.
