As part of the BRMM Programme, IOM is collaborating with Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Services/Departments in Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, and Uganda to carry out a Returned Qualified Nationals (RQN)/Diaspora Engagement initiative. In important socioeconomic sectors that have been agreed upon by the governments, such as computer science, health, agriculture, engineering, and financial systems, the effort aims to facilitate the voluntary engagement of the Ethiopian, Kenyan, Somali, and Ugandan diasporas in strengthening institutions.
