FULLY FUNDED TO USA : Apply for the Mastercard Foundation Arizona State University scholarships
Scholarship Overview
In collaboration with Arizona State University (ASU), the Mastercard Foundation will offer graduate scholarships to train 120 young African professionals at the master's level over a five-year period (2025–2030). This fully immersive, traditional 2-year on-campus master's program will focus on technology and innovation, aiming to prepare African youth with the necessary skills and knowledge to lead in the fast-evolving global digital economy.
For the 2025/2026 academic year, 30 scholarships will be awarded, covering full tuition, accommodation, and comprehensive support for the duration of the program. In addition to financial assistance, scholars will engage in various activities as part of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at ASU, which includes leadership training, individual mentorship, and participation in other events. Scholars will have the opportunity to work part-time on campus, either with the Baobab Platform team or elsewhere within the ASU community. Between the first and second year, participants will be supported in completing a two-month internship in Africa that aligns with their field of study.
A key expectation of the program is that scholars return to their home countries to apply their skills and education toward their nation's social and economic development. The program strongly encourages applications from women, refugees, displaced persons, and individuals with disabilities. ASU is dedicated to ensuring all its programs and services are accessible to all students.
