Fully Funded : Apply for the World Bank Scholarships Program

The JJ/WBGSP is available to nationals of certain developing nations who are applying to master's programmes in development-related fields and who have relevant work experience as well as a track record of aiding their nations' development efforts.

JJ/WBGSP provides scholarships for 53 Participating Master's Programmes at 27 universities in the United States, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and Japan in important development fields such infrastructure management, tax policy, and economic policy management, subject to funding availability.

Please be aware that you will not be able to apply for a JJ/WBGSP Scholarship in 2024 if you are not accepted into one of these 52 Participating Master's Programmes.

Tuition, a monthly living stipend, round-trip airfare, health insurance, and travel expenses are all covered by a JJ/WBGSP scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
belong to one of the developing nations on this list that are members of the World Bank;
not possess dual citizenship with any advanced nation;
Stay well;
possess a bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, obtained at least three years before the application deadline;
hold a full-time, paid job connected to development at the time the scholarship application is submitted. hold a bachelor's degree (or an equivalent university degree) and have worked in a paid development-related capacity for at least three years. The job must have been obtained within the last six years from the application deadline.
Application Procedure
The JJ/WBGSP evaluates scholarship applications from citizens of developing nations in order to pinpoint applicants who have the most potential to make a difference in their home nations. Every application is given a score between 1 and 10 by two assessors who take into account elements such as educational background, professional experience, recommendations, and loyalty to one's native country. The Secretariat chooses the finalists based on factors like gender distribution, geographic distribution, exceptional circumstances, and restricted access to funding. The Steering Committee gives its approval to the finalists.
