FULLY FUNDED: Apply for these Fulbright foreign student program scholarships for both Masters and Ph.D. studies in the United States of America
The Fulbright Foreign Student Program, the largest within Africa, offers financial aid for up to two years of graduate studies in a U.S. university or for involvement in non-degree research or professional programs. Its primary aim is to enhance African universities by providing higher degree training for faculty members. While open to all qualified applicants, the program particularly encourages female candidates and prefers those without extensive recent U.S. experience. Recipients of Fulbright grants within the past three years are ineligible to apply. The funding, limited to a maximum of two years, requires additional financing for doctoral candidates to complete their studies, with priority given to selecting Fulbright Master's candidates over Ph.D. candidates. The program also supports candidates with disabilities and offers special accommodations. Funding is available for a maximum of two years for master's or doctoral programs, with priority given to master's applicants. Ph.D. candidates securing external funding will remain under Fulbright sponsorship, while those unable to secure additional funding may have to return home without completing their degree. All applications must be completed electronically, as hand-written applications will not be accepted. Short-listed candidates will be invited for panel interviews, with finalists required to submit further documentation, including medical history and standardized test scores.
