The Université Joseph KI-ZERBO in Burkina Faso is offering a Master Research Programme in Informatics for Climate Change. This program is supported by the West African Science Service Centre on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL), funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
The aim is to train experts in scientific computation and climate data management in West Africa. Students will learn about climate data storage, analysis, and high-performance computing.
The program lasts for two years and includes language courses, lectures, research, internships, and thesis writing. Scholarships are available to cover living expenses, university fees, research, and provide a laptop. There are also opportunities for self-funded students.
