Taiwan AID is excited to announce the NGO Fellowship Program 2024, a one-month opportunity for NGO professionals from South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Northeast Asia, including Japan, South Korea, and Mongolia. This program, running from September 29th to October 27th, 2024, allows participants to learn from and work with Taiwanese NGOs, promoting cultural exchange and collaboration.

After a successful start in 2023, Taiwan AID is launching the second Fellowship Program. This program gives NGO professionals the chance to understand Taiwanese NGOs better through workshops, hands-on work with local NGOs, and discussions with local professionals. Participants will be paired with Taiwanese NGOs, working on tasks like event planning and project management. A four-day workshop will begin the program, teaching participants about NGO operations. Participants will also join a roundtable event to share experiences and learn from both international and Taiwanese NGO professionals.

The program runs from September 29th to October 27th, 2024, and includes workshops, site visits, NGO placements, and a wrap-up session. Participants can also join Taipei's Pride Parade on October 26th. The program is for NGO professionals aged 25 to 40 with at least three years of experience in areas like community development, environment, education, gender, human rights, media, LGBTQ+, medical service, and social welfare. Applicants should speak English well, and knowing Mandarin is a plus.

Selected fellows will have their expenses paid, including flights, lodging, meals, and transportation. They will also receive a daily allowance during their three-week NGO placement.
