They'll give you money so you can take time off and finish your writing. They're looking for writers from the Arab world who write in Arabic, and they want your new writing to be innovative. If you're selected, they'll give you enough money to cover your living costs for one to three months, depending on what you need. You also need a publisher interested in your new work, and after the break, they'll talk with someone on the team for feedback about your writing.
