Young Climate Innovators program (YCI) is a forum for young professionals and students between the ages of 18 and 35 that is organised by Innovate4Climate (I4C) in partnership with the World Bank Group's Connect4Climate Global Partnerships Programme and the Global Youth Climate Network, a volunteer initiative of the World Bank Group Youth-to-Youth Community.

Through peer-to-peer engagements and intergenerational dialogue centred on the themes of I4C, participants can learn and share ideas about their role in scaling up climate action and climate-resilient recovery.

I4C aims to include over fifty young professionals and graduate-level students from around the globe who are dedicated to careers in international development, policy, and climate action in the 2024 edition of YCI. The YCI event will happen in Berlin, Germany on September 11.

The youth demographic is a major force behind change and the acceleration of climate action. They are activists, change agents, proponents of the climate, business owners, and, above all, innovators. Youth use their passion, abilities, and unique experiences to scale up efforts to advance and implement solutions to climate change, whether through research, technology, or education.
