Applications are now being accepted for the bp Net Zero Scholarship, which aims to support young changemakers in attending the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montreal, Canada. As bp moves towards net zero, the company is dedicated to collaborating with and learning from others. The scholarship program is designed to identify and engage with young innovators who are reshaping energy solutions for the benefit of both people and the planet. Scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to join bp’s delegation at the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montréal, where they can network and share ideas with peers from various sectors.

The scholarship targets candidates who are actively contributing to positive change in areas such as advocating for progressive climate policies, advancing low carbon energy technologies, improving access to sustainable energy, and innovating to reduce emissions across households, regions, cities, and industries.

Eligible candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 30, regardless of nationality, and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering positive impact, leadership capabilities, and an understanding of key global or local issues.

While most delegates fall within the 18-30 age range, applications from individuals older than 30 may be considered based on their personal impact, initiative, and willingness to engage. Applicants must not be under the age of 18 at the time of the Summit.
