This scholarship aims to empower young leaders, bridge the skills gap, and address youth unemployment by providing opportunities and resources, including access to events, accommodation, travel support, and a platform for presenting solutions to global issues. Selected participants will be fully funded to attend the One Young World Summit in Canada.

Applicants should:

1. Be between the ages of 18 and 34 at the time of the One Young World 2024 Summit in September.
2. Actively participate in youth employment and job creation, demonstrating their involvement as entrepreneurs or in a similar capacity.
3. Hold nationality and residency in one of the specified countries: Algeria, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iraq (including Kurdistan region), Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Mali, Mozambique, Morocco, Niger, Nigeria, Palestinian Territories, Senegal, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, Tunisia, Uganda. Candidates with refugee status are also eligible.
4. Possess a functional understanding of English, as both the One Young World Summit and Enterprising Futures pre- and post-program activities will be conducted in English.
5. Commit to full-time participation in the program from September 17 to 22, 2023, including pre- and post-program dates.
