The Gender Just Climate Solutions Awards recognize outstanding grassroots initiatives and community-led projects that address the climate crisis while promoting gender equality.

These innovative solutions drive systemic change, yielding multiple benefits for the environment and society. Aligning with the 1.5-degree target by 2030, three winners are selected annually by a diverse jury through a transparent process. The awards ceremony takes place at the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP), showcasing winning projects across three categories: Technological, Behavioral, and Transformational.

Each winner receives a €5000 grant, a fully-funded trip to COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, and mentorship support to scale their impact. Up to 20 nominees' projects are featured in a publication, online platforms, and the Awards Ceremony, highlighting exemplary solutions for a more just and sustainable future.
