Empowering Young Voices for Biodiversity: Join the Global Youth Delegation at COP16
The Global Youth Biodiversity Network is mobilizing a diverse group of young leaders to attend the 16th Conference of the Parties (COP16) in Cali, Colombia, from October 18 to November 2, 2024. We aim to amplify the voices of youth aged 18-35 who are passionate about biodiversity conservation and rights-based approaches.
Our goal is to equip young people with the skills and knowledge to actively participate in international negotiations and become key partners in implementing the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KM GBF).
To be considered for our international youth delegation, applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to biodiversity issues and a basic understanding of international negotiations. Selected delegates will undergo a preparatory process, including networking, skill-building, and knowledge sharing.
If you're a young person attending COP16 and/or SBI5 through another organization, please register with us to join GYBN's activities.
Limited funding opportunities are available. Express your interest in this form, but note that participation is subject to funding availability. A jury will review applications, and selections will be made based on scores.
