The World Trade Organization (WTO) is now accepting applications for its 2024 Young Trade Leaders Programme, designed to cultivate a deeper understanding of international trade and the WTO's mission among young individuals. Candidates between 18 and 30 years old with a passion for global commerce are encouraged to apply. Successful applicants will demonstrate a thorough comprehension of the benefits of trade for both people and the planet. They will bring innovative perspectives and ideas to the table, while also learning about the WTO's work and contributing to its objectives. Eligibility requirements include:
- Age: 18-30 years old
- Strong interest in international trade
- Citizenship of a WTO member country
- No current or family affiliation with the WTO
- Excellent written and spoken English skills (knowledge of French or Spanish is a plus)
- Diplomatic mindset and willingness to respect diverse perspectives
- Commitment to full participation in the one-year program (July 2024-June 2025)
