Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) provides funding for all fields of study. Postgraduate programmes are available to students from public or state-approved universities, as well as from universities of applied sciences and polytechnic colleges.
The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung was established in 1925, and its inaugural scholarships were given to young people from working-class backgrounds who demonstrated exceptional talent and were actively involved in the fledgling Weimar Republic democracy.

Foreign scholarship holders receive: 934 € per month (basic scholarship programme) / 1.200 € per month (graduate scholarship programme) 276 € of family allowance, if applicable Refund of health care costs Any income exceeding 400 € per month will be credited against the scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
You must fulfil the following requirements in order to be eligible for the FES scholarship:
German and English are required languages.
Gifted kids from Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe are eligible.
The individuals' aptitudes and personality indicate great potential for careers in academia or business.
Enrollment or admission to a state-run or state-approved higher education programme in Germany
sufficient German proficiency, even though the classes are taught in English.
It is anticipated of candidates to demonstrate their dedication to social democratic principles.
