Applications are now open for the African-German Young Leaders in Business (AGYLE) programme. AGYLE connects emerging leaders and entrepreneurs from Africa and Europe through a long-term professional network and active alumni community, designed to strengthen African–European economic exchange and support sustainable cross-border cooperation.

The programme focuses on building meaningful relationships between future decision-makers from participating countries, using personal connections as a foundation for long-term collaboration. Key components include the annual AGYLE Live Week in Berlin, ongoing digital engagement formats, and international alumni meet-ups that help participants stay connected and continue working together beyond the programme.

AGYLE is returning for its sixth edition, inviting young leaders from Germany, Ethiopia, Ghana, Rwanda, Senegal, and Tunisia, as well as participants from Austria, Morocco, and Kenya for the first time. Selected participants will join a unique international business network, exchange ideas with peers across continents, and explore innovative approaches to building a more sustainable future through shared action.

The 2026 theme is “GreenTech for Impact – Young Leaders Shaping Climate-Smart Economies.” The call is aimed at young entrepreneurs and professionals developing forward-thinking solutions in major GreenTech areas such as renewable energy, climate and agri-tech, water and resource management, and sustainable mobility.

No previous work experience in Africa, existing partnerships, or ongoing projects are required to apply. Participation is completely free, and applications remain open until 1 April 2026.
