Fully Funded To Germany : Apply for the Middle East Fellowship Program

Applications are being accepted for the International Journalists' Programs' Middle East Fellowship Program, which offers young journalists from the Middle East—particularly those from Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, and Palestine—the chance to spend two months in Germany.

Objective

The fellowship aims to provide early-career journalists with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Germany’s political landscape. It seeks to enhance awareness among young media professionals of the relationship between Germany and the Middle East, while offering them a personal experience of the culture, mindset, and daily life in Germany and the European Union.

Through hands-on experience, the program encourages professional networking with local journalists, fostering long-term connections. Continued engagement is supported through an active alumni association and an annual reunion held in Berlin, promoting lasting exchange among former fellows.

Criteria for Selection

The finalists may receive an invitation to a conference call or selection interview following an initial selection process.
Legal action regarding the final decision will not be permitted.
The chosen candidates will receive notifications by the middle of August.

Don't miss out on the application deadline which is 15 June 2025.
