Fully Funded to Germany : Check out the Germany Hilde Domin Scholarship Program for Students

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Hilde Domin Scholarship Programme, supported by the Federal Foreign Office (AA), is now accepting applications for the academic year 2024–2025.

For students and PhD candidates worldwide who run the risk of losing their rights to an education or other privileges in their native countries, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers the "Hilde Domin Programme" scholarship. Through a fully financed scholarship, the programme offers financing for the awardees to enrol in a Bachelor, Master's, or PhD programme at a German higher education institution of their choosing.

Enabling grantees to make a significant contribution to the political, economic, and social development of their home countries is the ultimate objective. To further support the beneficiaries' social and personal growth, the programme also offers an interdisciplinary course. The scholarship has the name of Hilde Domin, a German writer and poet who lived more than 20 years in exile as a result of political upheavals in her home country. With the exception of students from Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, the United Kingdom, and EU/EEA/EFTA member states, the fellowship is available to all students and doctorate candidates worldwide.

Apply to the Hilde Domin Scholarship programme if you are a student or scholar who could be denied the opportunity to further your studies in your own country. The programme is open to Afghani women applicants who have been expressly refused an education.

Candidates for doctorates and successful students in the programme will be enrolled in the degree courses they want to take based on their qualifications. A scholarship will be awarded to them to help with living expenses while they are studying or conducting research in Germany.

In order to be considered for a study course at a German university, the applicant must submit an online application form, valid identification documents, a CV, a motivational letter, proof of academic progress, fluency certificates, proof of acceptance to German universities, and current academic standing documents.

The nominations deadline for the Summer Semester 2025 is on 15 March 2024, the application period runs from 19 March to 16 April 2024, while for the Winter Semester 2025/26 intake, nominations are due by 15th September 2024, and the application period is from 19th March to 16th April 2024.
