Deadline Day : Expression of Interest to Join the Steering Committee for the Children and Youth Pavilion at COP30 – Apply now
The Children and Youth Pavilion, a youth-led initiative within the Blue Zone at COP30 in Brazil, is inviting expressions of interest to join its 2025 Steering Committee.
This Pavilion will serve as a dynamic space for education, creativity, policy engagement, relaxation, and global youth dialogue, empowering young voices to actively shape international climate discussions.
Following the success of the Pavilion at COP29, the organizing team seeks youth organizations to join the Steering Committee and support the planning and curation of this year's Pavilion.
Steering Committee members will guide the strategic direction of the Pavilion, participate in Working Groups, and collaborate closely with partners through weekly calls and regular communications. (Note: Working Groups will also be open to individuals who are not part of the Steering Committee at a later stage.)
Interested organizations are encouraged to review the Steering Committee - Scope of Work for detailed information.
Important Notes:
- Participation in the Steering Committee does not guarantee a session slot at the Pavilion; however, contributions will be considered during program development.
- Each organization may appoint up to two representatives for Steering Committee activities. Attendance at every Committee meeting by at least one representative is required.
Please Note: Only youth-led entities will be considered. Non-youth-led organizations may inquire separately but will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Don't miss out on the application deadline which is 28th April, 11:59pm GMT.
