Study Session: Apply for the From Fear to Future Youth Climate Programme 2026

Applications are now open for the From Fear to Future Study Session, an international youth programme bringing together young climate activists and youth organisations to explore how young people can turn climate anxiety into collective action and build a more just and sustainable future in Europe.

The study session will take place at the European Youth Centre in Strasbourg, France, from 7 to 11 December 2026, with travel days on 6 and 12 December. The programme will focus on communication, advocacy and movement building, equipping participants with practical tools to develop effective climate narratives, engage in political processes, strengthen organisational resilience and advocate for climate justice.

Participants will take part in non-formal education, peer-to-peer learning and collaborative activities designed to help them explore alternative futures and develop new approaches to climate activism. The programme will also provide an opportunity to connect with young people and organisations across Generation Climate Europe (GCE), AEGEE-Europe and partner networks, creating opportunities for cross-organisational collaboration and long-term networking.

The programme is designed for young climate activists aged 18 to 30 from GCE, AEGEE-Europe and partner organisations who are interested in strengthening their impact through collaboration and developing practical skills for climate advocacy and movement building.

Accommodation at the European Youth Centre in Strasbourg and meals will be provided by the Council of Europe. Participants will also receive travel reimbursement, with a prepaid travel option available, provided they attend the full programme. A participation fee of €60 applies.

The programme offers young climate activists an opportunity to transform climate anxiety into meaningful action, develop practical advocacy and communication skills, strengthen their resilience and become part of a Europe-wide network working towards a just and sustainable future.
