Coordinating Ambassadors play a vital role in sustaining the energy and impact of One Young World beyond its annual Summits. While the Summit itself is an inspiring event, the real work begins afterward when delegates transition into Ambassadors, committed to making meaningful contributions in their communities, organizations, and countries. Since its inception in 2010, this global network of over 18,700 young leaders has collectively influenced more than 50 million lives through their initiatives. Coordinating Ambassadors act as the essential link between the One Young World headquarters in London and its expansive network of Ambassadors around the globe, ensuring continued collaboration and engagement.

The program is currently recruiting for leadership roles in multiple regions, including Latin America, the Caribbean, Asia, Africa, Europe, and Oceania, among others. Coordinating Ambassadors will serve a term from January 2025 to December 2026, working closely with their regional teams to strengthen the network of Ambassadors. Eligible candidates must have previously attended a One Young World Summit and become Ambassadors. Applications are open until December 8, 2024, and selected individuals will be invited to participate in informal interviews.

To succeed in this role, candidates should enjoy building relationships and fostering connections among their peers. A commitment to the mission of One Young World and a drive to create tangible impact are essential qualities. Fluency in written and spoken English is required, as well as the ability to dedicate a few hours each week to fulfilling the responsibilities of the role.
