In honor of the two journalists tragically killed in Mali in 2013, RFI is offering a prestigious scholarship for young radio professionals from French-speaking African countries. This annual program provides training and mentorship to emerging talent in journalism and technical reporting.
Program Details:
- Ten journalists and ten technicians will be selected for a two-week workshop in Cotonou (October 14-29, 2024)
- Winners will receive a four-week, all-expenses-paid training program in Paris (first quarter of 2025)
Application Period:
August 5 - August 25, 2024 (midnight Paris time)
Scholarship Award:
November 2, 2024, commemorating the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists
